We have been making herbal tinctures since 1985, and are committed to high standards, both in the sourcing of our herbal raw materials, and in their preparation. Quality isn't sacrificed in order to keep our prices low. We just have a very low profit-margin.
Most of our organic herbs are obtained from a well-established UK herbal supplier (est. 1969), and some are gathered fresh in our own country garden, in an idyllic rural setting near Glastonbury, Somerset, where we use no pesticides, chemicals or herbicides of any kind.
Then the tinctures are individually-prepared in pure grain alcohol (37.5) in a 1 part to 4 (herb to alcohol) solution, under direction of a qualified medical Herbalist (M.N.I.M.H.) We care passionately about the quality of our products, and from gathering to bottling, they are made hygienically and with care.
The tinctures are supplied in 50ml. and 100ml. amber glass bottles with dropper-caps, for accurate dosage measurement.
There are no additives, chemicals, binders, or preservatives in our Herbal Tinctures. They are individually-made, and we ensure they contain only organic herb/grain alcohol medium, necessary for full extraction of the herb's properties, and a good shelf-life.
